Double-girder overhead cranes: a matter of height

Double-girder overhead cranes are, by design, the most suitable heavy-load lifting devices for use in large-scale buildings.

Double-girder overhead cranes are often fitted with trolleys, but they can also be designed to work with low-headroom hoists which reduce the height of the device and maximize lifting height with respect to the height of the ceiling.

There are two designs: rolled-profile girders, or box girders. Box girders are suitable for medium-sized loads and reach (see tables).

The double-girder overhead cranes designed by TAEP with AW offer various structural shapes, ranging from simple to complex, in order to better manage your work space.
